Q: What does this word mean? What does that word mean?

A: Yes, the world of strip clubs contains a lot of words which the normal schmoe would not comprehend. There are a lot of acronyms and otherwise strange words. A: Depending on what you're looking for, the clubs that I'll recommend generally will embrass the bachelor to some extent. Also be sure to check out Cheetah's and Olympic Gardens for topless entertainment with full bars. Try Lil' Darlings for a nude club. The Palomino is great for bachelor parties because they are the only nude club which serves alcohol, but they are a little farther away from the strip and don't usually do the embarass the bachelor type of show. A: This is always a much debated area with some people, but let me offer you some general advice. When sitting at the tip rail, you should generally tip $1 per song. If you like the dancer or she does something spectacular, definitely feel free to tip more at stage, ie. $5, $10, $20 denominations are not uncommon. In modern times almost all strippers and strip clubs have adult merchant account friendly services that will allow you to tip a nude dance club stripper with a credit card. Now in regards to tipping with private or lap dances, that is completely up to you. Many of the dancers have become accustomed to just receiving the dance fee, but an extra $5-$20 will always be appreciated. One exception to this is in cases like Tally-Ho where you pay the house a fee to use the VIP room. In this case, tipping the girl $100-$140 is synonymous to paying her for dances since she doesn't receive any of the house fee. Now in regards to waitresses and maitre'd tipping. $0.50 cents to $1 is fairly standard for waitresses. Granted, you might feel cheated and not want to tip if your drink price is high, but remember, your waitress had nothing to do with the pricing and she's just doing her job. The maitre'd, at establishments that have them, can be tipped $1-$20 depending on how crowded the place is and what kind of seating he is able to find for you. Obviously, this is Las Vegas, if you want great seating, tip more, you'd be amazed what opens up.

A: Even though Reno is a gambling town, it is in Northern Nevada and obviously not part of Las Vegas. However, I get a lot of questions regarding Reno. There are a couple of clubs I can recommend. The Men's Club and Fantasy Girls. The Men's Club is an upscale club with a kitchen that many restaurants would be envious of. The girls are gorgeous and the place is reminiscent of Club Paradise here in Las Vegas. Fantasy Girls is not as upscale but the girls are very friendly and the laps have much more contact than The Men's Club. A: This is a very difficult question. Believe it or not, I like just about every club here in Las Vegas. Every club has it's own personality. Even though I have a Top 5 and rate each club different, everyone has their own likes and dislikes. My rankings are more indicative of value and what the general public likes. Of course I like the clubs I put into the Top 5, but any club with cute topless or nude girls is good for me.

A: What do you mean by nasty? If you're talking about the highest contact lap dances, I would recommend Olympic Gardens, Crazy Horse Too, Pussycat Theater, and Wild J's. Tally-Ho used to be real nasty, but recent firings have changed that. However, things like that change all the time in Las Vegas. Always read my Top 5 list and pay attention to the lap details. If you're talking about a different type of nasty, this isn't the right site for you.

A: A clip joint is a place where you are tricked into handing over your money for no services rendered. Usually, clip joints promise you sex or the possibility of sex and charge outrageous amounts for drinks and other fees until ultimately, you run out of money and they kick you out. Currently, there is only one clip joint in Las Vegas. It's called Thee Place, and you can read the warning we have posted about it. Stick to regular strip clubs. If you're being promised sex anywhere, be wary. Just remember, you've been warned. A fool and his money are soon parted.

A: Well, obviously, for the clubs which already serve alcohol, the answer is a resounding no. If you want to get kicked out, you can be our guest and try slipping something in. However, when it comes to nude clubs, ever since the big busts in 1998, the answer is also now no. If you want to sneak in a flask, that is your choice, but don't let them see you doing it. The old days of bringing in 12 packs of beer in brown bags are over in Las Vegas. One thing you should note, however, is that many of the nude clubs have opened up bars that are really close to the strip club portion of their business. For example, Spearmint Rhino has their Lounge next door. The club Strip Tease has the Next Door Lounge in the same strip-mall area. Wild J's has a bar down the street. Lil' Darlings has Kelly's Korner less than a few buildings away, and so on.

A: First of all, the dancers are at the clubs to work. Yes, work. Believe it or not, they are not there to get picked up. Sure, some may make you feel like you might have a chance, but hey, reality hurts. Get over it. Secondly, this is a strip club review; not an outcall or escort service. A: Let me start with, I AM NOT A PERSONAL MESSAGE CARRIER. I will not pass messages to dancers whether I know them or not. If the dancers did not provide a way for you to contact them, take the hint. Also, in regards to the second question about getting phone numbers, etc. NO WAY. Again, if the dancer did not provide anything to you by herself. You're out of luck buddy.

A: Unfortunately, there are no ethnic clubs in Las Vegas per se. By that I mean there aren't any clubs in Las Vegas which caters or hires only one particular ethnicity. Usually, you won't find more than several dancers other than caucasian in the majority of the Las Vegas clubs. However, the nude clubs seem to hire more ethnic minorities than Topless Clubs.

A: There are only one place in Las Vegas which has regular features: Wild J's. However, once in awhile, clubs like Spearmint Rhino, Forbidden Club, and Can Can Room will bring in a big name feature. There are quite a few porn/magazine stars who call several of the other clubs in Las Vegas their homebase; i.e. Lil' Darlings and Club Paradise. Check out my features page for more information.

A: Many of the clubs in Vegas cater to couples. There are usually a mixed percentage of dancers at every club that also love accommodating bisexual women. Olympic Gardens is good for couples since there's also a male revue upstairs on weekends. The Palomino is also very couple oriented as there are usually quite a few couples there, especially at the downstairs level where the feature dancers perform. However, I have seen couples in just about every one of the Las Vegas Strip Clubs.

A: First of all, in order to work in one of the many strip clubs in Las Vegas, you will need to acquire a Sheriff's card. This is a Las Vegas law. You can find out more information about that in the Dancer/Club Work Information page. This is also a catch 22 because in order to get a sherrif's card, you must first get hired at one of the clubs and get a signed referral sheet. Now as to where you should work, that should be based on your personal preference. However, here are some tips on things to do and not to do.

1. Be prepared to go into Las Vegas a day or two early DURING the weekday from Monday through Friday. You will need to do this in order to get a Sheriff's Card. Don't expect to be able to work without one if you just happen to get into Las Vegas on a friday night or saturday if you don't have a Sherrif's Card.
2. Go by yourself into a club. Many times when girls go into a club with several of their friends, the whole group gets turned away. Whereas one or two of the girls may have had a chance on their own. If your group is adamant on working together, your choices of clubs can very likely go down.
3. Look good. If you go into a club looking like ass, what do you think your chances will be? Sure, some of the management are real good and can spot out girls sans makeup that they have a feeling would do well based on a quick glance and the girl's attitude. But if you look good and walk in confident, your chances are much better.
4. The shift manager at most clubs almost always have autonomy in hiring who they want for their shifts. If you don't get hired, try another shift, or come back another day.
5. Don't let your ego stop you from going into the less glamorous clubs. Sometimes you'll need to in order to get a referral slip signed. Just because you get a referral slip signed at one club doesn't mean you have to work there. Remember, in order to get a sherrif's card, you need a referral slip.
6. What does it mean when a manager tells me they're 'full'? Well, one of several things. The first being quite obvious: they have too many girls! Also, it could be a polite way of them telling you that you don't fit his/her criteria to work at the club. Either way, don't take it personally and move on. There are over 23 clubs in Las Vegas.
7. Remember that Las Vegas is a 24 hour town and not being able to work your normal shift you worked at home doesn't really mean much. There are people in strip clubs 24/7 here in Sin City.
8. What outfits should I bring? Well, some clubs in Las Vegas require a gown (ie. Club Paradise, Play It Again Sams), and some have themes on weekends (ie. Lil' Darlings, Deja Vu). However, most of the other clubs in Las Vegas will just require a bikini. Most topless clubs will require for you to wear two (2) t-backs when dancing or on the floor. And yes, many of the floor managers and house mom's check!
9. Do I bring my own music? Definitely, as if you don't know which club you're going to work at, you might need some music to dance to. I'd say about half of the clubs play their own CD's and the other half plays whatever you give them.
10. Do the clubs provide housing? No, they don't. You will have to find a hotel/motel to stay in during your trip. This can range anywhere from Motel 6 to Bellagio. However, be careful, because unless you're confident in how much you'll make, it's not uncommon to see girls who have spent way too much on hotels and gambling and end up going home owing money.

A: In regards to where you should work, I think that is more of a personal preference, however, there are contact names and numbers in the above page as well. Also, read the reviews and when you get into town, check out the clubs you liked from what you've read. There are Dancer Notes in most of the reviews which indicate how much you will have to pay out when working at these places. They do sometimes change so please ask the management of your potential employers how much is expected from you when working.

A: Well, basically, you have to be yourself. If you qualify, you will be contacted. It's not something you can apply for although it might not hurt. The main thing about being a notable dancer on the Las Vegas Strip Club review is consistency. We look for a whole package. Looks, personality, the whole thing.
