Take it Off! Strip Tease Classics |

This newly pressed 'classic' CD is from Rhino Entertainment, and has taken most of their selections from the two 60's How to Strip For Your Husband albums by Ann Corio. More of a tribute to the days of old in stripping during the burlesque era and when the tease was still part of striptease, this CD even comes complete with a holographic box cover in which when you turn at a slight angle, the cover girl's dress disappears. There's also quite a long rant by Eddie Gorodetsky about the allure of yester year. Who is he? we don't know, but it's good reading, besides, there's all kinds of pictures of old pinups scattered throughout the foldout. But to the important things- the songs. Most of them were by Sonny Lester & His Orchestra, and are very recognizable once you hear the songs. Songs such as For Strippers Only, Blues to Strip By, and A Pretty Girl is Like a Melody are just a few selections out of the twenty-two (22) fun tracks on this CD. With a great big band sound, the sexy horn playing makes you look around for someone taking off their clothes. This CD would be great both for home as well as for entertainers who want to add a unique blast to the past twist to their stageshows. |

Strip Jointz: Hot Songs For Sexy Dancers |

This CD is an eclectic mix of R&B, some rap, and even disco. We're not sure how the producers put it together, or how they decided on the mix of music from different eras, but we'd mainly say this CD is only good for intro songs if you're a DJ and maybe listening to while driving or at home. These songs aren't very good stage songs in general. They are mostly high energy and too fast for effective stage work. It's not a bad party CD however. Most of these songs are indeed 70's and 80's classics. Songs like Brick House, Wild Thing, Boom Boom Boom, and Super Freak dominate the sixteen (16) tracks on this compilation CD. |

This great CD is in almost every great DJ's collection, and a must for any new DJ or any person who feels like getting pumped up. It begins with the famous Lets Get Ready To Rumble by Michael Buffer and leads straight into Get Ready 4 This, which is the perfect introduction for bringing out dancers/features onto stage. It also has favorites like Tootsee Roll, Pump Up the Volume, and Whoomp! There It Is. A definite must have CD for DJ's and parties, or if you just want your house to sound like a strip club. |
